Owners & Advisors
Joel & Karena Knight
Joel has been immersed in the roofing and construction industry since 2003. He began his career as a full-time installer before moving into estimating for Gerry’s Roofing & Siding in 2010. Today, Joel owns the business with Gerry serving as his advisor. Joel is married to Karena, and together they have three active boys. Joel is dedicated to his local church, contributing by singing on the praise team and managing the audio-visual department. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, snowboarding, and working out at the local gym.
Karena has over 15 years of experience as a secretary. She started her career at St. Joseph’s Healthcare in Hamilton, thriving in a team of healthcare professionals. Later, she joined Gerry’s Roofing & Siding alongside her husband, Joel. Karena is passionate about working with people, helping those around her, and spending time with her three young boys. In her spare time, she enjoys visiting family and friends and assisting others with home design and decoration. If you need help choosing colors or designs for your next project, Karena is the one to talk to.
Gerry St. Germain
Gerry got started out in the roofing industry as a summer job decades ago. That led to creating his own company in 1980 that you see here today. After serving his community and customers for many decades, he retired and sold the business to long time employee Joel. He stays on as a advisor and mentor to the team.
Meet Our Team
Paul
Paul has been working at Gerry’s Roofing & Siding since 2006, and has been in the construction industry for over 30 years. Paul has a ton of experience in roofing and siding, and is a wealth of knowledge at Gerry’s. If you ask Paul what is most important, he will say his lovely wife, his two children, and his four grandchildren (who he spoils every chance he gets). In his spare time, Paul likes to golf, play hockey, and travel.
Greg
Greg has been in the roofing industry for over 20 years, and has an extensive knowledge of roofing. Greg joined Gerry’s Roofing & Siding in August 2022. He enjoys spending time with his fiancé, and his two children. He also enjoys playing golf and hockey in his spare time.
Dave
Dave is a family man that loves his wife and children. He has a passion for connecting with people, golf, and travel. Through ownership of his own business in construction he has gained broad experience. He does life, work, and relationships with strong convictions and honesty and loves to have fun! His experience and expertise will partner with you to make the best decision for your investment that meets your specific needs
Cosimo
Cosimo has spent the better part of the last 20 years in the Real Estate and Customer Service industries. Cosimo prides himself on his ability to build lasting relationships with all of his clients, he has a “once a client, always a friend” mentality. Outside of his work, Cosimo is a dedicated father and husband who loves staying active in sports and spending time in the great outdoors.
Bernadette
Meet Bernadette, our dedicated Customer Experience Specialist with over 30 years of leadership in customer success in both Ireland and Canada. Bringing extensive expertise to the Senior Care industry for over a decade, Bernadette holds a designation in Elder Planning Counselling. Her role involves working one-on-one with clients, ensuring their satisfaction, and contributing valuable insights to enhance our team's efficiency. Beyond her professional endeavors, Bernadette enjoys playing the accordion and singing in a local Celtic band.
Cal
Originally from Toronto, Cal moved to downtown Hamilton in 2022 and works in the finance department at Gerry’s Roofing. She is a great cook and enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren, keeping up on current events, gardening, exploring the natural beauty surrounding Hamilton and visiting the local art scene.
